THE results of Zimbabwe’s 2025 Advanced Level examinations were released today (January 9th), bringing an end to the anxious wait for thousands of pupils.

Their publication marks the third consecutive year that the national tests have been administered without reports of paper leaks—a significant milestone for a system once notorious for compromising its own integrity.

Education Minister Torerayi Moyo confirmed the release schedule on Thursday, presenting the clean record as proof of successful government reforms.

“This is a remarkable achievement that underscores the Ministry’s unwavering commitment to upholding the integrity and credibility of our examination systems,” he stated.

Minister Moyo attributed the secure process to tighter monitoring and enhanced security protocols, aligning the effort with President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030 development agenda.

For candidates, the results are a pivotal determinant of university admissions and scholarships. They can be accessed via the official online portal of the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC).

While the government celebrates systemic improvements, the true test lies in the opportunities these results will afford to Zimbabwe’s youth.
